CREATIVE STRATEGY
American Gigolo is a present-day reimagining of the 1980 neo-noir thriller. Creating a visual language that didn't lean solely on the male sex worker narrative but instead drove the humanity and complex nature of the protagonist was the goal. Using composition and unexpected color helped differentiate the campaign.
ROLE
As design lead I created initial rough comps and compiled visual references to land on our final direction in key art, out-of-home and print campaigns.
